She made her debut in theatre when she was 19. She attended directing and pedagogy courses in the USA, during which period she came to Romania for a few times to act in various productions, like „Aurora” (2010, directed by Cristi Puiu) and ”Best intentions” (2011, directed by Adrian Sitaru). After her return in Romania in 2011 she opened the acting school InLight, thus undergoing experiments which lead to the achievement of the film ”Illegitimate” (2016), that Alina Grigore wrote together with director Adrian Sitaru and in which she played one of the leading roles. While developing her debut fiction film she graduated several direction and scriptwriting programmes, like Berlinale Talents 2018 (Berlinale Film Festival) and PLOT 2018 (IndieLisboa).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”10769″ img_size=”medium” style=”vc_box_outline” css_animation=”left-to-right”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_custom_heading text=”Florin Iepan” google_fonts=”font_family:Montserrat%3Aregular%2C700|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][vc_column_text]Born in Timișora, Florin Iepan directed and produced over 50 documentaries, TV series, docu-dramas, reality shows, international co-productions. He founded Sub-Cult-Ura, one of the first independent production companies from Romania, specialized in documentaries. He graduated the National University of Theatre and Film (UNATC), Discovery Campus Masterschool, HBO și DCTV internship with Jon Alpert. In 2007, he founded Documentor, the association of documentary film authors that he manages. The most popular films directed by Florin Iepan are ”The One, the Only, the Real Tarzan” (2004), ”Children of the Decree” (2005), „The Fallen Vampire” (2007) and „Odessa” (2013).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”10770″ img_size=”medium” style=”vc_box_outline” css_animation=”left-to-right”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_custom_heading text=”Ileana Bîrsan” google_fonts=”font_family:Montserrat%3Aregular%2C700|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][vc_column_text]Ileana Bîrsan graduated the Faculty of Philology from Bucharest and attended film courses at the University of Zürich. She was editor of the film sections in the magazines TimeOut București, BeWhere! and Șapte Seri and wrote articles on cinema in publications like Dilema Veche, Observator cultural, LaPunkt.ro, TheChronicle.ro. Since 2009, she has been attending various cinematographic education programmes as a lector. She also founded Filmikon, workshops of cinematographic education and education through cinema. Together with director Claudiu Mitcu, she made the documentary film ”The Trial” (2017).
